Heimdall — App Store Connect MCP

Heimdall — App Store Connect MCP

Ask and it answers. Tell it and it's done.

  • "Summarise this week's 1-star reviews and draft replies."
  • "Which builds are stuck in review?"
  • "Raise this subscription's price in every territory."

Everything you can do in the App Store Connect screens, you can now have an AI agent do by telling it.

Asking an agent what a subscription costs worldwide; Heimdall answers in one tool call A real agent session, sped up. The account is a stand-in so the recording can be public.

Heimdall. One MCP server built from Apple's own OpenAPI specification (the App Store Connect API and the App Store Server API (StoreKit 2)): 13 profiles, 32 sub-profiles, 890 tools.

Most App Store Connect MCP servers offer a hand-picked slice of the API and market it as curation. That curation works right up until the one endpoint you need. And when that endpoint comes, you are lost among the alternatives, looking for a way through.

Heimdall does the opposite, and gives you all of the tools: apps, metadata, versions, TestFlight, subscriptions, in-app purchases, pricing, reviews, Game Center, Xcode Cloud, provisioning, webhooks, sales and finance reports… You choose the ones you want — and change your mind whenever you like.

What each one covers is in the profile table, but there is nothing to memorise — ask "is there a tool for in-app events?" and asc__search_tools searches everything, including what isn't loaded, and tells you which profile it lives in.

Not sure which you need? Starter packs answer it by role. A release manager installs distribution + app-info, an ASO team marketing + analytics. Which role to give the key — with the least privilege — is in Roles and permissions.

MCP guidance recommends remote HTTP servers: one URL, no install, updates you control. Heimdall runs locally over stdio instead, and that is a deliberate trade. Running locally, Heimdall reads the App Store Connect key from the Keychain, signs a short-lived token, and talks to Apple directly. Nothing sits in between. The key stays yours.

Works alongside Fastlane

Heimdall is not a Fastlane alternative — it is the interactive half. Fastlane for the pipeline, Heimdall for exploration and one-off changes.

About the name

Heimdall guards Bifröst, the rainbow bridge that links Asgard to the nine realms in Norse mythology. His job in this project is to keep the roads that connect your App Store Connect account to your machine. That's where the name comes from.

License

I build this alone, in the evenings, and publish it under the MIT license. If Heimdall has spared you the App Store Connect dashboard, it has done its job.
